on the base unit, I had to cut the drawer width so the drawer would close, the printer shelf was too long and door wouldn't close, had to break off stops on slides so it would go in all the way. the doors don't line up I am getting ready to try and bend hinges. I never contacted hayneedle because I can't imagine putting those pieces back in box. The unit is made in Thailand, the factory should try putting one together once in a while. I was looking for a better than average unit and was willing to spend more to have it. This is not the one

Looks great! We shopped EVERYWHERE in town & online for a unit that would close to keep things neat & orderly...this was by far the best unit for the price range we were shopping in. The only thing that makes it hard to move is the overall weight (268lbs empty)...but...it's heavy b/c it's wood (and that's why we bought it). Very nice!
