Description
Give your home office an executive makeover with the Home Styles Bedford Pedestal Computer Desk. This black desk is constructed from hardwood solids and engineered wood and finished using a multi-step process ending in a clear coat to protect against normal wear and tear. Assembly is easy and detailed instructions are included.
The CPU compartment on the left pedestal of the desk is vented to allow air flow and help prevent your CPU from overheating. The left side also includes a storage shelf and utility drawer. The center drawer has a drop-down front, allowing you to use it as either a drawer or a keyboard tray. The right side pedestal features two utility drawers and a file drawer that can accommodate letter- or legal-size files.

Im so pleased with my desk. It looks great in my home office. It has an attractive design and sturdy construction.
I will agree with the other 2 reviews with the amount of time it took to put together. It took my best friend 4hrs to put it together. But it was worth every hour. I absolutely love it and he enjoyed puttin it together.

My husband and I spent 10 hours putting this together. If he were not a wood worker it would have been worse. It is very heavy. The finish was very flawed on the middle drawer and I had to touch it up as well as two other places on the main cabinet. The computer area is too short for a computer that has a wireless connection sticking out of the back. Mine is now on a "jump cable hanging out of the top vent hole. but then the computer still is half an inch too deep. So we have not put the door on yet. I will have to buy a different case for my computer so it will fit. This was not worth the price.

Do not waste your time or money on this desk. The first time we assembled this it took 4 hours because none of the pieces lined up. Stupidly we conintued to put it together. Once we were finished it looked horrible. The drawers did not close properly, the door would not close smoothly and there were gaps all over. So we sent it back and got another one. This time we had a carpenter help assemble it. After an hour of him trying to move holes to align the pieces, he gave up and said to return it. [...]
