I purchased this entertainment center and I love it! It was really easy to assemble and it looks as if I bought it from an expensive furniture store. The hinges are great doors open smoothly and the are not the cheap kind that you have to adjust and never get the doors to line up! I am very pleased with this purchase. I also think that it would make a great buffet for a dining room. It is a great height and has nice amount of storage.

Nice Cabinet - but awful to put together

We purchased this cabinet as a TV stand, and although it came with all the pieces, they didn't all fit together properly. It took us over 4 hours to assemble including drilling new holes for hinges, and sanding down warped doors in order to make this work. And things are still a bit off kilter, but it's the best we can do without sending this back. My husband is a carpenter by trade, and has done construction work in the past - so it's not as though we are incapable of assembly, it just isn't well thought out. And forget getting new parts - the manufacturer doesn't supply extra parts...you have to send the whole unit back (after you've put it together).

I am not the best at assembling things but this unit did not prove too difficult. The alignment of the doors at the end of putting the unit together is the trick. Not a lot of adjusting you can do. The margins turned out good but the eveness of the doors closing is off a bit. Overall the quality is good and the picture is very representable of the color. It was not my first choice of style but my other tbales in the man cave were of the modern flair so this fit in well. One note, this unit is primarily all wood on the frame but the shelving is particle board with a venner over top. I read in other reviews that the entire unit was solid wood. Once put together this does look like a quality piece of furniture.

so this looks fabulousand I havee gotten lots of compliments. they should warn you though that it takes 2 people. Hex nuts were tough to tighten in the unit with the allen wrench near the end, but overall assembly was lenghty but not too bad. Assembly is the only thing preventing 5 stars but it got 4 because my friend that helped was super handy and made it easier then it could have turned out. it is tall and beautiful with plenty of storage though.

This entertainment center initially caught my eye, and I kept coming back to this one no matter which other stands I looked at. I researched numerous tv stands, and most of them were not real wood, mostly veneers. Locally, the real wood entertainment centers were $600+. This one does have some real wood, and it is a modern, sleek design. The solid doors are great because it allows you to place items out of sight. The tv components respond good through the glass doors. It took some time to put it together, and some adjustment of the glass doors were necessary. The tv stand was packed extremely well, thankfully so because the shipper ended up putting a hole in the box, but it did not damage the tv stand. The color is darker than the picture. Overall, the tv stand was in excellent condition upon receipt. The height of the stand is even with snack bar counter top. The only 2 changes I would recommend are: (1) the manufacturer place a wire entrance hole near the top shelf behind the glass doors so one does not have to run the wire through the bottom hole, and they run the wire up the back panel to get the components on the top shelf behind the glass doors; and (2) hidden hinges, especially for the glass doors would be more attractive. I am extremely pleased with this entertainment stand.
