Was dubious about buying an expensive bed frame without seeing it, but it really does look exactly like the photo. I think it's beautiul and so far very comfortable (we only have a futon mattress on top and it's great)

We splurged on this bed because we wanted a sleek yet warm design. It arrived with no problems or damage whatsoever, and we assembled it in under 15 minutes. The system of hooking the side rails into the slots on the headboard and footboard is ingenious - I literally spent more time dusting it than assembling it. You simply unroll the slats (held together with strips) and lay them on the finished frame. The bed is extremely sturdy and doesn't wobble or squeak at all. It is slightly lighter in color than in the picture here. We are very pleased with this bed!

Excellent finish. Very good looking. Solid construction. [...]. Comes in 3 (or 4?)boxes that make it easy to move into the house. Assembly very simple--no tools-- and result is solid. However, hint, do not over-tighten the legs for the center support.
