The high-gloss black surface is set off nicely with a panel of Vintage Umber wood and silver bolts. The LCD display includes large 1.25-inch numbers for the time, plus day of week, month, date, and temperature in Fahrenheit or Celsius. The display is illuminated by a cool blue LED light at night - just press the button to see the time. You can choose to display the time in a 12-hour format or 24-hour military format. Inside, the clock is powered by a radio-controlled movement, with Accuwave DS, which automatically sets itself and adjusts for daylight-saving time. The clock requires two AAA batteries (not included).
