The Victorian-style Howard Miller Veronica Grandfather Clock boasts a host of elegant details. An ornate pediment with book-matched rare olive ash veneer has been crowned with a carved shell and leaf motif and two turned urn finials. It has been crafted using select hardwoods and veneers and then finished in exquisite satin Windsor Cherry. The polished brass dial features a crystal cut glass central disc with polished brass, cast corner spandrels. The circular spun-silver colored chapter ring has applied brass Arabic numerals. The striking blue moon dial includes backlit pierced stars, and the polished brass lyre pendulum has a crystal cut glass center disc that complements the dial.

The case with mirrored back is illuminated by not one but two lamps; one is located in the top, while the other can be found in the base, where it lights the pendulum and polished brass weight shells. Frosted glass located in the base lends the light a soft, welcoming glow. The bottom door and glass have a distinctive serpentine shape, and the beveled top and side glass panels are removable, allowing convenient access to the movement. Sculpted columns feature upper and lower carvings with unique botanical patterns. The shapely, multi-tiered base features corner carvings that frame the book-matched veneer and shell and leaf overlay.

This clock with cable-driven, triple-chime Kieninger movement features automatic nighttime chime shut-off option. The door locks for added security, and height-adjustable floor levelers under all four feet provide stability on uneven and carpeted floors. Also included is an exquisite brass plate suitable for personalized engraving.
