The numerals show up more distinct on the thermometer I received than the picture shows. I thought I was going to have to add more color to them as the previous reviewer shared. But I didn't, hung it outside and it looks great and temperature reads are accurate. VERY HAPPY with this purchase! Love the design.

I love the rustic look of this thermometer, but its dark coloring does make it a bit hard to read at a distance. This was obviously my fault for not noticing the measurements, but it is smaller than I thought it would be, too. However, I'm still pleased and glad I purchased it.

Wanted a thermometer for the wall near the pool and didn't want the standard white, plastic ones. This one blends well with the patio decor. The numbers were a bit difficult to read from a distance. Used a black permanent marker to darken them and make them stand out a bit more.
