Cube Pro mount
Description
The CubePro GoTo AltAzimuth Mount is the ideal portable mount to go with your traveling OTAs, such as a 60mm or 80mm ED refractor, a 90mm or 100mm Mak or 114mm Newtonian reflector. It can also be used to mount solar scopes. It features a SmartStar computerized control system with 130,000 objects and 8-line backlit LCD screen. A 32 channel internal GPS, easy alignment procedure and accurate GoTo and auto-tracking minimize the setup time. 1" stainless steel tripod legs with metal platform and metal hinges makes the mount very sturdy. The compact design of the tripod and the mount makes it easy to carry around in a travel case, and the mount assembly time takes less than 5 minutes. The standard dovetail makes this mount compatible with many different OTAs. CubePro is compatible with all ASCOM compliant planetarium programs and many other programs such as Sky X, Starry Night and Voyager.

Comments about iOptron CubePro Telescope Mount:
I've been using this mount with a 7lb 90mm refractor.
Pros: The computer-control works very well. The controller is easy to set up and use. The mount is easy to carry around.
Cons: The refractor sits so close to the mount that it often collides, losing alignment.
The basic stability of the mount is not very good with this scope, despite it being well within the stated weight limits. I wouldn't even think about doing any kind of imaging on this mount.

Comments about iOptron CubePro Telescope Mount:
While the tripod is a bit light, it is still much better than the average light weight tripod. The setup is fast and the tracking is great. I use it with a Mac-90 and a PST.

Comments about iOptron CubePro Telescope Mount:
I have severy mounts including expensive ones, but this little CubePro is the one I used the most. It is so easy to use and can be put in my suitcase for air travelling. It hold my 102ED nicely. I damaged the HC last year but iOptron kindly sent me a replacement without charge, except $10 S&H (within warranty period).

Comments about iOptron CubePro Telescope Mount:
Having read many reviews on the Cube Pro i was a little leary about it but went for it anyway. All I can say is that from the first reviews there have been many improvements in it quality Ioptron is listening to the users and making it better. Just make sure it is LEVEL and it tracks great

Comments about iOptron CubePro Telescope Mount:
I bought this for use as a portable, visual, GOTO mount. It seems adequate for this application with a 7# telescope. Lots of slop in azimuth and a 4 to 5 second stabilization after focusing. I would definitely NOT use this mount for astrophotography.
