The vanity is crafted from highly figured walnut veneers and prima vera and maple marquetry in a rich mink brown finish. But that's really where the tradition ends and the couture begins. Two front doors feature gorgeous, open scrollwork against a creamy backdrop, bringing character and dimension to what might ordinarily be a heavy piece. On the inner panels of the double-hinged doors you'll discover full-length mirrors for easy behind-the-back styling. Fold the doors flush with the vanity's sides to reveal a complete accessory-and-beauty workstation - 10 interior vanity lights, controlled with a dimmer switch, illuminate an expansive mirror and tabletop. Twelve felt-lined drawers and 16 pegs are ideally suited to house and display jewelry. On the left side, three drawers - the top drawer bottom is felt-lined - offer storage for hair care products and other accessories. On the right side, another small drawer conceals a jewelry tray perfect for finer pieces you want to keep out of sight, and a cabinet door opens to a storage space with an adjustable shelf.

An included upholstered stool is a lovely place to perch while you're getting ready for the day or an evening on the town. Built-in casters make moving the stool a snap, but why would you want to?
