This sleek and stylish Mele Jocelyn jewelry box is fully equipped to safeguard all your jewelry. With three levels, multiple compartments, drawers and ring rolls, this jewelry box can handle everything from the tiniest stud earring to the bulkiest bangle. Description
The Jocelyn Jewelry Box has a sleek, sophisticated look ideal for any modern woman. More importantly, it's loaded with storage options that make the most of available space and let you keep your jewelry collection safe as well as organized. This elegant box features a rich java finish and silver-tone hardware, as well as stylized curved side panels and molded feet. Open the lid to reveal a large interior mirror and a generously-sized storage area, complete with four small compartments, ring rolls, and a large open compartment. Along the back of the box is a hidden necklace drop; necklace hooks are suspended from the interior of the lid, so the necklaces drop safely down behind and are safe from tangling and damage.
The front of this jewelry box houses two small drawers and one large drawer, ideal for everything from bracelets and watches to important papers. All interiors are hand-lined in sand-colored suede fabric. Box measures 13W x 8.5D x 8.25H inches.
About Mele
Emidio Mele, an Italian immigrant to the United States, came to New York City in 1896 and learned to make jewelry boxes as an apprentice before founding Mele Manufacturing in 1912. He began by designing and building elegant displays for jewelry store windows. His jewelry box making business grew throughout the 1900s, responding to demands for boxes to hold Purple Hearts during WWII and developing as a popular household name for quality jewelry boxes. Today Mele Jewelry Box is known as the Mele Companies, which encompass various divisions under the Mele name. Now based in Utica, N.Y., Mele still upholds the family atmosphere on which it was founded and remains America's foremost name in jewelry cases.
