This is a very nicely made solid wood coffeetable. Rich even dark reddish-brown finish, looks very nice. I love the lift top feature too! I pick up the top, put my snacks and laptop up there and it is stable and sturdy. I can leave it up there, relax, surf the net, watch tv, and munch happily! It's a small table since my livingroom is 12' x 12', pretty small, yet is substantial in appearance and feel, not small or flimsy. There are also casters you can put on that are actually hidden from view, and make tye table easier to move around on my rug My only criticism is the instructions, or lack thereof. A copy of a copy of a copy, small pictures, very unclear and no actual words at all. I'm pretty handy and figured it out but it took me a minute. And yes, I did it single handedly.

When we get our new couch I hope it is taller than old one because, this table, when lifted is way too tall with our old couch. I'd hate to have to try to disassemble and repackage it! Here's hoping!

This is a great coffee table for our living room. It fits conveniently with our sectional. We can both get around the sofa and not have to move the bigger version of a coffee table.
I did think that there was a drawer on the front, but it is merely decorative.

The table was reasonably easy to put together. Our only complaint is the lifting mechanism is extremely stiff. We are thinking it will loosen up over time. Overall, we are very pleased with our purchase.

We needed his and her lift top tables. We chose these because they were the smallest we could find. The edges of the tops are pretty rough. The casters make them easy to move, however I don't think they were worth the money.

Poor shipping. We like the coffee table but the box showed up like it had been tossed around. The damage to the point were i want to send it back but it still is annoying after putting it together.

To confirm other reviews:
-Shipping carton was nearly destroyed, I was concerned about damage and there were 2 scratches on top. I used some scratch cover & decided to live with it. There is no way you would ever get this re-packed in original carton to return.
-Assembly requires a bit of physical contortion if you are working alone. There are no directions, just a tiny drawing of hardware placement. I printed from website on 11"x17" paper and it helped a lot.
-To save time, I suggest that you put 2 legs in tight and leave 1 leg loose, then bottom tray and final leg and tighten. It would be nice for the manufacturer to give step sequence.
-I love the sturdiness of top when in lift position and the smooth operation of hardware. It is nice enough quality for the family room, but not quite up to par for formal living room.
-The lifted top is very high when used next to lower seating; 30" when raised.
