We have two homes and liked this system enough to put it in both homes. First home we selected 18" deep, that is a waste of space because the extra 6" is behind the hanging clothes and not used. The second system we selected 12" deep and it's perfect. Professionals installed the first home, it took them 1/2 day. We installed the second one, it took us 1 1/2 days. We would do better next time :-).

Im using this one in my walk-in closet. I bought the extra shelf lengths and hardware to wrap the shelf around the wall. I used the wall end anchor piece and mounted it to the shelf length on the opposing wall.
I've already installed the 16" deep delux kit in my other closet, so the install on this one was easy for me. I was able to do it unassisted and almost without the directions. For first timers, expect it to take you most of the day to install this.
