Difficult to assemble for one person, and some of the holes didn't exactly line up--but can still work with extra force. Our box/box/file pedestal is a little crooked. But when I was finished and stepped back, overall it does look nice. The finish quality is actually very nice, as are the hardware pulls. It's like the Ikea black/brown finish, but with a touch more brown/grey and more texture/variation.
