Description
The La Crosse Technology Radio Controlled or Manual Projection Alarm Clock with Temperature is as high tech as it looks. This sophisticated silver clock supplies time and temp information from your bedside in a variety of ways. It alternates between projecting the time and outdoor temperature on the wall or ceiling for easy viewing. It also displays information on its easy-to-read LCD screen, which can be illuminated by an EL backlight so you can see in the dark. Every four seconds the clock updates, aligning with the atomic time standard and checking the weather information from the outdoor sensor. Use this clock as your alarm to be assured that you'll always wake up on time ... unless you hit the snooze button too many times.
- Outdoor sensor wirelessly relays weather information back to the receiving unit by 915 Mhz transmission and can be placed up to 330 feet away from the receiver.
- A low battery light indicator tells you when to change the batteries; this won't be often, with the clock's extended 24-month battery life.
- Updates automatically for daylight savings time, features time zone settings, and includes a calendar function.
- Projection arm rotates up to 90°, while the data can be rotated left to right, right to left, or down for optimal viewing.
Range
- Indoor temperature range: 14.2°F to 99.9°F (-9.9°C to +37.7°C)
- Outdoor temperature range: -39.8°F to +139.8°F (-39.8°C to +59.9°C)

Comments about La Crosse Technology Radio Controlled or Manual Projection Alarm Clock with Temperature:
I'm so glad I bought this clock. It is exactly what I wanted. My husband had no trouble setting it up. As soon as we put the batteries into the outside sensor it started registering the temperature. The red display does not bother us when we are sleeping. We did have a tiny problem with it only because of user error. Our electric went out and when it came back on the clock correctly displayed the time but the outside temperature registered zero. My husband went outside and took the batteries out of the sensor and reinstalled them. After a little while the temperature was correctly projected on the ceiling again. I have added the backup batteries into the clock and should not have any problems with it if my electric goes out again. I love looking up at night and seeing the time and the outside temperature displayed. So much handier than getting up on my elbow and turning my head to see the clock at my husband's head on the headboard. The temp display is handy for my husband too as he plows snow for the township.

Comments about La Crosse Technology Radio Controlled or Manual Projection Alarm Clock with Temperature:
The purchase arrived promptly, well packed.
The display is large, and the projected image clear. The overhead image can be tilted from vertical to horizontal.
The only drawback to this design is that the ceiling image can only be rotated in 90' increments, so the image may be tilted quite a bit. Previous designs have been able to rotate at any increment, 20-30-45' for instance.
