It's beautiful for the price. Assembly is not that difficult if you take time laying out the parts alphabetically. I will repeat the other reviewer point, that is, do not drive the cam bolts too tight or you will have difficulty engaging the cam locks. If not for the cheap hinges, drawer railings, and knobs, I will give this item a five star. Also, since most people use the center as wine rack, the extra pre-drilled holes are showing when viewed off center.

First, an extra pair of hands will make the assembly much easier. You'll need 2 people to move the box it comes in anyway; mine weighed in at 144lbs!! And be aware that this unit comes in 2 boxes. Apparently the only difference between the 4 different styles of the buffet is the feet, so they come in a separate box. The instructions are pretty good, but some of the diagrams were small so the details were not easily viewed. There were a couple of pieces that were scratched but they were in places that were not visible. You'll also need a decent sized area to assemble it in; there are a lot of pieces to lay out. Assembly was straight forward. It took about 3 hours start to finish. All in all, we are very happy with the furniture. It looks great and is very functional.

lots of storage compared to the baker's rack it replaced.
it took more than 2 hours as quoted to assemble.
