Description
The Leupold SX-1 Ventana Spotting Scope Kit offers a durable, variable magnification level spotting scope, in either straight or angled eyepiece design, and a sturdy compact tripod, all packed in a tough black polymer case for a very competitive price. With a magnification range of 15x to 45x, the Leupold SX-1 Ventana is applicable to all types of viewing, offering a wide field of view for easy location of the object to a high magnification level to bring out the details.
Fully Multi-Coated lenses ensure a high photopic transmission for a bright, clear image. The focus dial is conveniently located forward of the eyepiece for ease of focus adjustment. The twist-up eyecup adjusts for those viewing with or without eyeglasses. The tripod is an adjustable leg model with a standard 1/4-20 mounting screw head and twist-lock panning control arm. Leupold SX-1 Ventana spotting scopes feature the Leupold Limited Lifetime Warrany.

Everything comes in a nice foam-lined case. But my case was damaged/dented in shipment, although it did protect the scope inside.

Just received my Leupold 15-45x60 Spotting scope Kit. I must say for the money, it's a very nice package. The scope is clear to the edges even at the highest power and the adjustment are easy to use and respond quickly. This scope is worth the money. I bought it to use at the range and shots of .223 are easily seen at 175 yards (the length of my range). The tripod seems to be a little on the light side, but will do and the case is very well built. Overall I would reccomend this scope for anyone looking for a range scope at a fair price. The tripod is the only reason I did not rate this a 5.

Very pleased with the packaging and the service during the purchasing process, all questions were answered and the shipping was fast (ordered on Wed. morning had it Friday). this was a first time purchase from Spotting Scopes.com and Hayneedle and I will be doing more bussiness with them.
