This unit's dual 42mm objective lenses are multi-coated for high fidelity images and outstanding light throughput even under less than ideal conditions. The internal Porro prism delivers up to 8x magnification, and the durable black or camouflage armor is great for longer, more comfortable use anywhere you need it. The sturdy frame and sealed casing are durable and engineered to resist the normal wear and tear which might admit water or cause fogging.

Comments about Leupold 8x42mm BX-1 Rogue Binoculars:
My binoculars were shipped on time, and so far I love the binoculars.they are very easy to hold. I have arthritis in my hands and the more compact designs are hard to hold. These just feel right from the first time.

Comments about Leupold 8x42mm BX-1 Rogue Binoculars:
Best Binoculars I have owned to date. Great construction, Great feel in your hands. They Really feel great to the touch. Rugged. The Best feature of all is the 3D Clarity of the lens. Perfect picture, perfect view. Amazingly precise focus control. Sharp consistent view from center to edge. Side by side comparison with a comparable set by Nikon and the Leupold had them beat. Plus the Leupold are waterproof and fog proof and life time warranty where the Nikon was not. Included strap is very comfortable around the neck. I attached the straps directly to the slots in the binoculars and removed the plastic snap units that were included. Lens covers are easily knocked off but that is okay, they are only on when in the case.

Comments about Leupold 8x42mm BX-1 Rogue Binoculars:
Outstanding optics, and focus. Can read numbers and letters at very long distances, more than any binocular I've ever had before.
Poor craftmanship; the eye-piece covers do not fit and fall off. Poor design, putting on the strap on the binoculars was impossible!
