It is very elegant/perfect piece for our contemporary style. Very nice leather, style, size and price. I was shopping around for over a month and it is the best! My husband is very happy with it. Our daughter did not resist at all when we put the old coffee table away. She usually does not like us put things we have around since she was born away.

Overall, the bench satisfies my basic requirements. Although the unit's modest size (compared to standard bench ottomans) works well, I was expecting a bit more interior storage space than it actually has.
My biggest disappointment with the unit are the four wooden legs. There is about a 1/4 inch separation between the top of the legs and the bottom of the ottoman which upon closer inspection, exposes the flat, unfinished portion of the wooden legs. Since the unit came assembled, I am unable to further "screw-in" the legs in order to close the gaps. I believe this is a very obvious oversight and should have been detected by the manufacturer's quality control inspectors and Ottomans.com buyers. I will probably end up staining the top of the unfinished wooden legs in order to try and visually hide these imperfections.

This is a very nice ottoman. It's solidly built and comes completely assembled. It's the perfect size for my den, and you can store extra pillows and blankets in the ottoman.

We use this ottoman as a baby-friendly replacement to our coffee table, since the living room is where our daughter does most of her playing. When she started cruising & walking, it was the perfect height for her to hold onto. She literally did laps around it for many weeks. We also love being able to store her toys in it after she goes to bed. (But, be sure to note the storage dimensions. It isn't as deep as you might think.) The only drawback so far as been that one of the hinges seems to be sticking and won't allow the lid to close completely. The lid only closes to about a half an inch, unless you put pressure on it. I'm not sure if the hinge got bent by a toy or if it is a defect, since it was not doing that when we first got the ottoman. But, it definitely doesn't bother us enough to make us regret the purchase.
