The instillation and assembly of Liberty Garden aluminum hose reel is easy, Have used this brand over several years and they just keep working great. no corrosion. Used with true rubber hose it works even smother yet.

I bought this hose reel thinking it looked nice and was made of metal thinking it would last a long time. I also paid a lot of money for just a hose reel. It worked fine for only about one year and then it got a leak where the water supply hose connects to the reel located on the side. It has three small O rings that rest inside of the square piece that connects your water supply hose to the reel. Because the square connector piece continually rotates, the O rings wear and have to be replaced. I have replaced them and it still leaks! So, short of hiring a plumber and paying a service call, I am buying a different one. Needless to say I am not happy with this one.

Solid, sturdy, well built hose reel came pre-assembled. Only the handle required assembly - just 15 seconds. I used lead anchor bolts with washers to mount it on brick, and it's solid as a rock! Far better than the plastic models I've replaced several times. I highly recommend this hose reel.

This hose reel seemed perfect for about a year but began to leak where the inlet hose attaches to the reel. I have replaced o-rings several times but it continues to develope leaks. The part housing the o-rings is machined poorly and it is so rough it continues to eat up the o-rings. A much better reel is on te market. I have both and the other product is a much better reel.
