Sorry Hayneedle.com but I have to be honest here. I was extremely disappointed in the quality of this armoire and the condition it was in when it arrived. First of all the packaging was in perfect shape so that means it was shipped with a large crack in the wood on the bottom. The exterior finish was horrible and there were many light scratch marks and the bubble wrap left circles in the finish. There was even a splotch in the finish that was no doubt caused during the drying process (I work in a wood finishing shop) yet it was still boxed up and shipped out as acceptable. The felt inside had black fingerprints in several places and was coming away from the surface in a few spots. Even worse, the lights were not even there! There were small round impressions in the felt where they should have been, but were either not cut out or missing entirely. I am not even sure if the wiring was there, I didn't see it. There is obviously a lack of quality control. I called customer service to return it and the sales rep was very courteous and the full amount was promptly refunded when I sent it back, no cost to me.

Second time I ordered this item. Returned it first time because no LED lights. Second time I received it, it again had no LED lights, and it was the wrong color. Ridiculous. CUstomer service was nice and took returns, but its heavy and annoying to ship back. Wish the company would verify from the manufacturer before advertising these items.

I bought this jewelry armoire for my wife as an anniversary gift. When we received it (the first time), I found it to be in terrible condition. The fabric was coming off in places (bare screws were sticking out of the fabric as well), and the LED lights did not light. It looked like a 10 year old kid had slapped this thing together. I sent it back and asked for a replacement armoire, which, unfortunately, was in worse shape than the first! And this time, the LED light on/off switch was never installed on the battery pack, so again, no lighting. BUYER BEWARE! Made in China. This would never pass American quality control standards.

I bought this for my wife. We recived the armoire the finsh on the front was rough and not sanded out. The stain was not applied evenly so you could blonde spots. We returned it and it came quickley, HOwever, this one was missing the lights where the ligths were supposed to be it was covered over with flet. One of the earing hanging peices was placed in upside down. We called and they offered to take it back or give us a % off. We are still thinking what to do. Who knows what will be wrong with the next one.

Product was a little scratched up, and was missing LED's. After a tough time unpacking the heavy product, had to repack and tape up the whole box again for returning. CUstomer service was nice about it and didnt give an issue about the return, but it was a pain packing the product again. Waiting to receive replacement and will update.

Hayneedle.com response:There may be slight misunderstanding of how this item operates, the LED lights are inset to the frame beneath the felt lining. You will only see them when the lights are on. LED’s are cool lighting sources that are bright enough to shine through the felt lining. There is a hidden door in the bottom, inside of the frame that houses the battery pack (batteries not included). The lights are on a sensor so they go on when the door opens & off when the door closes. We agree that this quality is unacceptable. We are working through these issues with our supplier.
