If you're a budget-minded shopper, these are fine for the price but you get what you pay for. I bought six for our kitchen breakfast bar. They look nice, but are not nearly as sturdy as the $150 stools I saw at a local store. Manufacturing quality is highly variable for the 6 I bought. 2 were easy to assemble - parts fit nicely. 2 were challenging to assemble because fit was poor, screws wouldn't start easily into holes, or welds (on foot rings) were too big and in the way of inserting screws. 2 were very difficult to assemble - had to grind down welds just to get the screws to fit, had multiple screw holes that refused to thread a screw into. Since I don't have a tap and die set I finally had to just try my best to start them and then force them in. A couple cross-threaded but I stopped short of totally stripping them out - time will tell if they hold. One had a dented leg which I didn't discover until after assembly - I'm not about to take it apart and send it back so will just live with it. When all were assembled, 4 fit flat on the floor without rocking, 2 had significant rocking due to leg length issues. Had to use some extra felt pads to fix that. All of them sway a little if you wiggle around on the seat. Overall, they're ok and look good, and if you're lucky you'll get some that go together well. But if you don't, prepare for some frustration and do-it-yourself modification. If you're a discerning shopper who wants a budget price without sacrificing quality, you may want to look further.

We were handed down 3 of the bar stools that were purchased over 3 years ago. We went onto Hayneedle.com and were able to find the exact same stools. The bar stools are sturdy and comfortable and look great!

Perfect for my bar in the mancave.
I'm not usually an online buyer, I like to see things in person but I took a chance. I wasn't finding what I wanted in the stores and they were alittle more than I was wanting to pay. I was VERY pleased with theses bar stools and the price, and they were VERY easy to put together.
