The wood-crafted headboard and bed box feature a country pine finish, while soft, profiled edges and carved circles on the wooden drawer knobs create casual charm.
The bed's three drawers feature an innovative drawer-slide mechanism guaranteed for life by the Smart Glide Life Warranty. Each drawer slide is made from a unique combination of polymers for exceptionally smooth sliding. Child-friendly features include soft-closing rubber mechanisms and safety catches. The bed can be assembled quickly and easily, and it comes with an additional five-year limited manufacturer's warranty on parts and workmanship.

Realy a great first bedroom set. Lots of storage room. Easy to move around. Very compatible with any size room. Wrong parts, see service/delivery comments. Cannot complete assembly. Disappointing.
Service and delivery comments:
Delivery was split between 3 days. Parts were missing. Example: supposed to have C and C1 for the sides of the bookcase headboard. They shipped two (2) C1 items. Cannot assemble since the predrilled holes do not match up. Need C and C1 to make this work. Disappointing, now I have to wait for the right parts to ship.

I bought this set for my kindergarten son's new bedroom. I searched everywhere for a matching bedroom set and this was by far the best value I could find. I bought the bed with the headboard, the chest, and the nightstand. I love the way it looks and it is perfect for a small child's bedroom or transition to a first "big boy" room. The only thing I don't like about it is that it is cheaply made. It has a lot of particle board and all the drawers slide on plastic rather than metal. I also had to reinforce all the drawers with 2x2 wood underneath to keep them from caving in. The finish looks good from far away, but up close you can really see that it's printed particle board rather than high quality wood. However, I saved at least $1000 by buying this bedroom set and it is good enough for what I paid and for the amount of time that I expect to use it.

I bought this bed for my daughter (toddler). At first, I was afraid she would fall out; however, she loves her bed and the bed is actually the perfect height off the ground for her - not too high and not too low - just right. I bought the bookcase that went with the bed and I'm glad we spend the extra money. My daughter filled the bookcase with all her favorite books. The only drawback is that it only takes small size books.
