Enamel cast iron cookware is not microwave or dishwasher safe. To keep your enamel cookware in perfect shape for years to come, hand wash with warm soapy water and dry immediately; do not air dry. Use only plastic or nylon scouring pads to avoid damaging the enamel; likewise, use only wooden or silicon utensils while cooking. The non-toxic enamel coating eliminates the need to season the metal and allows for more thorough cleaning.
