A beautiful sofa table that blends well with wood floors and adds an Asian accent to a room, this piece is well made but tricky to assemble. The legs look like they could go on either way, but one brace is slightly recessed, and the recess goes to the outside, not the inside (as I had thought). Assemble the wrong way, and the last cross piece does not fit. Also, the barrel nut and bolt assembly has to be adjusted carefully. The bolts cannot be screwed in all the way, and the barrel nuts are soft metal whose grooves are easily blurred by the screwdriver they enclose for assembly. Also, I dropped a lamp finial on the surface and dented it--but the finial was heavy. And the bottom line is that the table is unusual and lovely to look at.
