It is a beautiful piece of furniture. One of the screws for the lid would not close tightly allowing the lid some side-to-side movement. One of the side doors doesn't open and close tightly as it should. For the cost I would expect operation would be completely tight when the item is new. The design is good and does what is expected- the construction is not as good as I would like.

There were some quality issues, this unit should have never have left the factory. It would have been a simple fix for the manufacture, but they neglected to take a little time to fix a major flaw on the front of the unit. It is a beautiful piece, I was very disappointed because it is very nice outside of the flaw(s). 1 major and 2 minor flaws.
I want to give kudo's to the customer service from Hayneedle, they recieved my complaint/return request and within 12 hours I printed my shipper online and Fedex came the next day and picked it up.

Shipped quickly. Very attractive item. Arrived when expected. Lots of space. Not to heavy to move. But, some minor scratches. No big deal. Would recommend to others.
