If you want a Cherry or Red Mahogany type finish color then you found the right desk. The pictures of this do not show the redness of this desk which was a huge disappointment as it did not go with any of the other wood finishes in my living room and the expense in returning was almost 50% of cost. Otherwise the desk is nice and a good price.

I bought this desk for a small home office and lap top use. I was looking for a desk that had a lightweight appearance and was sturdy. The desk provided both criteria.
The hutch works fine with a laptop but if a typical desktop pc were used the monitor would be too close.
Overall I am very satisfied with my purchase.
