I have read the earlier reviews about the chairs being difficult to assemble but it looks like the manufacturer has addressed most of the issues. There are clear instructions and extra screws/bolts for all pieces. The only remaining issue is the difficulty of screwing in the wood screws. You should have a power drill on hand and it will be easy. The manufacturer could address this by doing a better job of pre-drilling the starter holes for the screws.

We read comments before purchasing....assembly was not difficult but the manufactured holes did not match up. My husband had to go to hardware store to purchase more wood screws and still did not work. Of the four stools we purchased...one was wobbley, two did not have proper holes drilled and one was fine. Needless to say we were extremely disappointed. Hopefully we will have replacements that are up to expectations.

The bar stool is a decent quality for the money. It takes a bit to assemble (for time), but goes together okay. The screws for the cross bars on the legs are a bit of a challenge to get tight with the way you have to screw in sideways, but is okay. The legs do not have adjustable feet, so when the stools set on a solid surface there is a bit of a wobble to them (just because the legs are not exactly true), but it is not severe. I would say it is not the most highest quality stool, but for the money is what we expected, and since we have a large bar (we needed eight stools), it fit our budget. We actually ordered one to see it first, and then seven more once we saw what we were getting. The look of the stools is what really attracted us to this particular one, and it fits well at our newly finished bar. I would buy again.

This was an awesome purchase save for the one of four chairs that was missing pre-drilled holes. Luckily my husband is handy enough to have been able to assemble it anyway without having to send the chair back and wait for a new one to ship. The pub table and chairs looks great in my kitchen nook. Love it!!
