Reasonably priced real wood stools. They look very nice however, they can be a bit frustrating to assemble. Luckily my 7 year old daughter handled the bolts that attached the seat cushion to the stool top. Her small fingers helped. Attaching the legs was tricky on about 3 of the legs. I bought 4 of these stools. The problem was that I couldn't engage the bolt threads into the recessed bolt receiver in the legs. I was able to adjust the depth of the bolt receiver with a larger allen (Hex) wrench from my bike tools. However, one other bolt receiver isn't centered well. You will have problems with the brass foot ring too. Things don't line up quite that well. Make sure you keep the bolts loose so you can get all 4 bolts in. Finally, as another said, I think some of the holes in the brass ring may be slightly undersized. So about 2 hours for 4 stools and not quite done. The feet are a bit close and not super stable but adequate. Overall, I got exactly what I expected.

After reading a few of the other reviews of people who ordered one barstool and then deciding to buy additional barstools after seeing the quality, I decided to just purchase all four of my barstools at once and I am glad I did. They are the perfect size and very sturdy. Two of the stools took about 20 minutes each to assemble and the other two took about an hour each because a few of the holes in the foot rest bar were slightly too small and had to be drilled to accommodate the bolt threads into the foot rest bar.
