We bought this for our preschool and were pretty disappointed in the workmanship. Pre-built parts were not well put together - also holes for assembly were off so that it was extra work to make everything go together. Some of the bolts/screws were the wrong length and we had to buy ones that would work. The fence isn't very white - we will need to re-paint it. The door came off and broke - thank you for replacing it.
The kids sure enjoy it - but we adults were disappointed.

I bought this house for our daughter last year and thought it looked and sounded like a USA made product. When it came, it had "made in [*]" all over it. I have nothing against made in [*]but I thought I spent [$] on it to have a really good quality cedar - not processed firs made in [*]. it was coated with a smelly oily stain. Not only was this not a good value and felt they had false advertised their product, but it was very hard to put together and after the a year, the hinges are not holding up. The flooring also looks nice, but there are spaces in-between where lots of toys can fall between and you can never get them out again. My daughter likes to play kitchen inside and i had to put a layer of good rugs over so that her silverware wouldn't get lost. In addition, it came with 2 very very flimsy stools that I decided right on the spot were very dangerous for kids. (she sat and fell off it immediately) I resorted to [@]for some sturdy wooden chairs. overall, i would definitely not buy this again. nor would i recommend to others. At the time, i was trying to decide between this one and one from [@]and I wished i had chosen that one. not sure how weather resistant this is. I wouldn't get it if you have real winters. we cover ours at the first sign of rain.

I especially like the roominess and the height inside the playhouse. Great for kids that are old enough to use their imagination. Some bolts were the wrong size, some screws missing and some boards needed sawed but overall the kit turned out great.

My son adores this house as do all his friends. It took my husband about 12 hours to put together and he is really good at this stuff. It's worth it in the end but be prepared! I find it well made and I'm sure we'll get many years out of it. We plan to paint the fence and roof to make sure they last longer. We were missing parts and the installation book said to contact the manufacturer but they told me to contact Hayneedle. Still waiting for the part but their response was good. We would recommend having plenty of extra screws but it's not a big deal.

Delivery was on time and the guys were very nice. We were missing parts and I've contacted service and received a prompt response. I'm hoping the issue is resolved soon
