Comments about Meade #1403 Tube Balance Weight System for 12 Inch LX90 and LX200:
Nobody had this item in stock. I canceled my order I placed 2 months ago somewhere else because I didn't see any end to my wait. I saved money here ($20) and got I in a day.
Service and delivery comments:
poor packaging, the product were weights for a balance system for my telescope. Those weights were free floating in a box, causing the paint on those weights to chip and fall off.

Comments about Meade #1403 Tube Balance Weight System for 12 Inch LX90 and LX200:
I purchased this balance system so that I could mount my digital camera on the telescope. I also have a couple of lenses that are very heavy. This is easy to adjust for the various weights of the camera or lenses. It does exactly what it is advertised to do.

Comments about Meade #1403 Tube Balance Weight System for 12 Inch LX90 and LX200:
I own a 12" Meade LX200 Classic...this item is used to counterbalance the (so many) added accessories to the back-end (viewing) end of the telescope. These counterweights were machined perfectly, installed in less than 10 minutes, and are well made. PERFECT. Instructions for installation are NOT included and might be helpful. But enough photos are posted on the internet to show the beginner exactly where and how to install them on your scope.
