I like non-powered lawn equipment like this — I also use a manual reel mower. This sweeper is quite good at picking up the newly-fallen sparse leaf cover several times a week (not yet worked their way down through the turf). It doesn't take long to cover a large area. It does not replace an occasional thorough raking with a steel leaf rake. I make a couple of passes, then reach into the bin and put the leaves into a trash can. I do not bother lifting off the catcher until the end of the job.
