I wanted a headboard that wouldn't overwhelm the room or distract from the linens and artwork already there. This fits the bill perfectly with a design that is classic, simple, understated. We did install self-adhesive felt pads to the back of the uprights to prevent contact with the painted wall, but that was just a precaution.

It came 3 days earlier than expected and I was very happy to get it. It looks great in my bedroom. It was easy to put together. I have paneling in there and though the headboard is very dark you can still see that it is brown next to the wall. Due to the type of bed frame I have I could not connect it to the frame but I'm sure there must be a work around for that. This is the ONLY reason I gave it a 4. I am very happy with this!

I have an old queen metal bed frame and was concerned when the holes on the frame did not match up to the holes on the headboard. The enclosed adjustment plates worked perfectly. After attaching them to the bed frame, I was able to match up the holes and easily attach the headboard!
