I love the look of these shoes, exactly what I was looking for, and as I expected, the Minnetonka brand lived up to it's name, these are genuine, and are very impressive looking.
As I also expected, these are not terribly durable. The soft sole really adds style at the cost of durability, They turn black after walking on sidewalk or in a store for half an hour, which is to be expected. Also, my feet do seat a bit in them, I fixed the problem by adding a gel insert with a cotton sock wrapped around it, which fixed the problem. I'm still breaking them in, and so far the only problem I've had is some pressure on my big toe and a slight problem on the heel that subsided after a day's wear around the house.
Bottom line, if you are interested in genuine style at the cost of the durability, I'd highly recommend these. I can't wait for school to start so I can start wearing these around, but so far they feel great, and look great, making my first pair of moccasins a real treat! Something tells me I will be buying more mocs from this site!

I searched many sites before buying these moccasins. I even followed some advice from others and oordered one size larger than I needed; however, they're still much too narrow.Construction quality seems good but they're too skimpy on material for width. The ONLY ones I find in this construction are the moose skin which offers a "wide" size at [@] - a total of $78.98. That's rather high for a knockabout moccasin.I know I'm not the only guy with wide feet so why the reluctance to produce wide sizes???
