Fit and finish were surprisingly good. I was very satisfied with the completed bench. Assembly instructions were very vague and incomplete. Better instructions could turn a 4 hr. job into a 1 hr. job.

It took about 3 hours to build. All the parts fit perfectly together (great chinese drill jigs I suspect). Oak veneer is very textured over some ? hardwood and particle board.
Tips - the glue provided is some sort of vinal mix with Elmers like wood glue -- NOT enough so make sure you have your own white glue supply. Inventory your stuff as I was missing one wood plug = which I easily made from a dowell. Having a 20" clamp is nice but not necessary. Long medium size Phillips screwdriver is necessary. You need one extra person to hold things together as you bolt up the back of the bench. Have fun building it = I did.

It came in a box in 26 pieces and 1000 screws and bolts. I wish the add would of said assembly required
