I'm a coach of a boys youth soccer team and purchased the goals for training sessions which we have twice a week. With the crossbar and back bar removed the goals (with netting) slide into my van with ease and take a matter of seconds to re-assemble for training etc. Extremely versatile, but the goals need to come with more ties for the netting; you will need to purchase additional ties to secure the netting properly to the bars. The frame feels reasonably strong and reasonably durable, although the hinge-locking pins could do to be better quality as they have a tendency to pop out when carrying the goals to/from the van. I tied additional chording to the pins through the netting to ensure they don't get lost if they fall out accidentally. The pins are OK when the goals are erect, and I don't foresee any problem with their safety during normal use. I would recommend this product, the kids love 'em ! but you will need to purchase additional ties for the netting, and keep a watchful eye on the hinge-locking pins.

The first one I received was mis-drilled on the hinged piece. It was replaced. I really like the goal when assembled. I want it for practices, however, and it's a bit of a pain to have to disassemble it each time. It's easy enough to carry BY HAND when it's folded, but an 8' x 6' u-shaped metal thing does not really fit into a Toyota Tacoma's bed, so I have to disassemble it further. That leads to complications with the net. It's solid enough when up, so I like it for my sons' practices (they are 6 and 8 years old), but I wish it were more convenient to transport. I would only recommend this to a rather dedicated coach.

Piping is not too thick (think thickness of those metal broom handles), so I doubt it can take much older kid abuse, but it does fold nicely, sets up easily, and is super simple. The hinge seems sturdy- the one thing I worried about when I ordered it. To be used in a church gym with kids to adults for indoor soccer, and I think it'll do fine.

I ordered a set of these as practice goals for our school's soccer teams (7-9 year olds). They worked great and the kids loved them, but after a few weeks the velcro came apart and the metal frame started rusting, and it became more and more difficult to fix. Now I find myself shopping for new ones. :( If you buy it, make sure you bring it inside when not in use.

These goals were ordered for a local soccer association, they will fit our needs perfectly with our 5-6 year old groups. They assembled in about 5 minutes without any hassle, the folding design is great for easy transport. Just keep in mind these goals are 6' high even when folded, which may make it a bit of a challenge to get them in and out of the back of a SUV or a car.
