Bought it to add some beauty and humidity to my office. Had to assmeble and reassemble 3 times to get all parts in proper locations to make flow correct. Even after all that it still splashes over. If you buy this (and you shouldn't) use picture from web site to help with assembly. Basicaly, this is very poor quality for the money.

I love my Montpelier Floor Fountain. I can' even believe how affordable something this beautiful is. I am not crazy about the limitations of the light. I would love it to have a dimming feature, be able to simply snap off and most of all to be able to turn it off while still running the fountain during the daytime.
Minor thing -- the rail looks a but cheap, so I put a plant behind it. Now it looks wonderful. But be careful if you do this because if the leaves touch the lamp, they form a bridge for the water to go into the plant's base. The thing is -- I have a fake plant :)
I'm not familiar with the maintenance of home fountains/ponds yet, so I cannot comment on the technical aspects.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
