I now have a gurgling stream flowing through my bedroom. Am finding I sleep better, even though the gurgling is stronger than anticipated. The Zen Fountain is exactly as depicted, even though the stones on my fountain hang higher and do not drip onto the stone below, as I assumed from this picture.
I had an electrician look at it and he says it does not need to be plugged into a GFI outlet.

The fountain is overall good qulaity, well built and sturdy. It arrived on the estimated delivery date intact and ready to go. The pump inside is quiet and has variable speeds. The only thing that I didn't like about it is that it doesn't sound like the web site audio-video clip. It actually sounds like a drain pipe and not very relaxing to my ear especially since I purchased it to relax.
