I placed it under a window and use it to store light stands and other photography equipment. Very handy and looks good. I like it. However, construction was incomplete. When I assemblied it one of the pre-drilled holes at the base of the bench was not drilled so could not screw in the fourth round foot. Called for support and customer service treated me great. I'll drill a hole for the last foot. They applied a credit for the hassle. Good Company!

I like the design and function of this bench, but the instructions are terrible. I had to disassemble 3 times to make things right. The instructions never bother to tell you which side should face up, down, or side way. I had to put them together to a certain point to figure out if I have done something wrong. What a shame! It is a good product otherwise.

This chest was easy to assemble until I tried to attach the safety hinges. The pilot holes on the left side panel were on the bottom front instead of the top back. I thought I had simply assembled the side panel incorrectly until I realized that the holes to attach the legs were in the correct spot and I had not, in fact, done the assembly incorrectly. The pilot holes for the hinge screws were drilled in the wrong spot by the manufacturer. This was an inconvenience, which prolonged the assembly.

We had purchased this bench in the vanilla color for our daughter's room, to house all her stuffed animal friends. We were so impressed with the speed of shipping, ease of assembly, quality, appearance and functionality of this bench that we immediately ordered one in the pecan color for our son's room! As we hoped, it is every bit as nice as the first one! We would highly recommend this item! Great purchase....

Bench arrived on time and we had no trouble putting it together. The wood is very sturdy and accommodates two of us sitting on it without problems. It opens and closes smoothly and quietly, and there is lots of space inside for storing items.
The only issue we have is a minor one, that the cushion (ordered separately) keeps slipping off because it does not come with a way to secure it to the bench. But that doesn't stop us from loving this bench!

From order to delivery took only 4 days and FREE on top of that. It was super easy to put together. I read the dimensions on the description BEFORE ordering so it was just the perfect size for the end of my bed. It feels solid and the wood stain color is very close to the photo. Anyhoo, I really am very pleased.
