The Mr. ECO Kitchen Composter is an excellent solution to save you a trip to the outdoor compost bin several times a day. After each meal, simply put your kitchen scraps in the Mr. ECO Kitchen Composter, and when its 10 liter capacity is reached, you can empty into the compost pile. Adding items are easy and its innovative design that transfers compostable materials from one chamber to another ensures it's free of odors. Simply wrap your compostables in paper towels or newspaper and place them in the top bin. Turn the handle and this bin will flip, transferring your scraps to the large bin area. Turn the handle again to "close", and the odors are blocked inside. Not only is this composter made of recycled plastic, but it's 100% recyclable as well.

Impressive. Locks in odor just like advertised. it takes me about a week to fill the bin give or take, and then I take out and dump it in my big 75 gallon composter - extremely convenient. To give an idea of how much i cut up and compost im vagen. My roommates were very skeptical at first but now they are even composting. I would recommend it (for sure). Honestly, I didn't want to buy anything but my big outdoor composter, but this was a great idea and it has proven itself so far.

The Mr. Eco Kitchen Composter has worked just as advertised. It comes with compostable bags that are a great addition, and don't get in the way of the turning lid. The lid takes a bit of effort to turn, but that's only because it has a tight seal which keeps odors in. So far, we are really happy with it - the size is great!

I purchased this item because of the feature where the top rotates, dropping food into the container and then closing off any odors. Unfortunately, this only works when the biobag liners are NOT used, despite the fact that a few biobags are enclosed with the item.
Also, I asked the salesman on the telephone which refill bags to buy, however the ones he recommended are too small.
