My headboard arrived sooner than originally estimated, which was a nice surprise. The headboard color is listed as pewter, however, does have quite a bit of brown coloring in it. That is fine by me, as my carpet is beige, so it picks up some of that color, even though I plan to have the walls painted a glamorous grey color. Beautiful piece and I am very pleased with the quality.
