This is a nice, solid cedar planter. The construction is very sturdy.
NOTE: once you receive it, you are instructed that it is recommended to use a plastic container inside the planter to prolong its lifespan. I had planned on just filling it with soil, so having to use a plastic container lost quite a bit of soil volume. It would have been good to know this at the time of purchase!
Also, the planter's usable volume is much smaller than the dimensions stated online because it's outer dimensions are much wider than its interior dimensions. That's due to its chunky (but strong) construction. Just something to keep in mind.
Otherwise, I really like it. It looks nice - simple and elegant. Works well with our arts & crafts style home.
