I have wanted a lift top coffee table for ages but I always ran into finding them in the right color and wrong size and wrong size, right color, extremely overpriced or so cheaply made they were unsuitable.My living room is the showplace of my home so I am very fussy about what goes in it. This table is just so perfect in every way! Size, color, usefulness and durability.There is very little assembly required, just attaching the legs which is so simple. It has a nice heavy weight but rolls easily on carpet with the casters and the picture does not do the beauty of the wood top pattern in this piece justice!Next month I will be purchasing the matching console table and end tables to complete this set. Well finished construction. Heavy base - won't tip over when opened up. Sturdy hinge mechanism. Handy drawers on both sides. May take two people to put together, although I did it by myself. Great value for the price.

Beautiful finish and size. Top operates great. Placed felt pads on the legs instead of the casters. I have hard wood floors and the table moved to freely. A challenge to assemble by one self but not impossible.

The table is beautiful now that its together. It took about three hours to assemble and was a bit tricky as the only instructions were in the form of drawings. There are latches meant to hold the lift top in place, I assume for safety reasons. One of those latches was broken, but we aren't going to use them anyway. Order arrived promptly and apart from the latch, was in perfect condition.

Item showed up on date promised. Packaging was geat-well protected. Item was easy to put together for somebody with technical ability otherwise it make take some time with the manual wrenches they suppl. The only thing that was wrong but no big deal was that I got one bolt too long but it fit anyway. I would recommend this item. Its well constructed and heavy, nice looking piece of furniture for the price.
