A friend recommended this machine. We really wanted to like it but it just didn't cut it. There are too many steps involved to make a cup of coffee. First, you have to turn it on, then hold the power button for 30 seconds to heat the water (which didn't work and the light never stopped blinking so you are standing there pushing this button for ages...) then you have to pop the capsule in and flip the switch and turn the switch back to off. If you aren't good at following directions - opt for one of the pricier Nespresso machines. That's what we really wanted but couldn't justify the expense. That one, you just pop the capsule in and push a button... Also, the coffee choices are limited and just not special. No wow factor at all...
Service and delivery comments:
Packaging was terrible. The machine arrived in an oversized box that was not filled with enough packing and the tape on top was about to come apart. The jostling around in the box probably damaged the machine because it never worked quite right. We had to return it... I hope this was a fluke mistake on hayneedle's part because it was absolutely unacceptable packaging...

My problem with this product although a high quality product that is easy to use is that the only brand of coffee pod that can be used with this machine is Nescafe pods. I think that is a bad idea because I can't use other brands of coffee pods that fit. If I had know this, I would not have bought this item.
