I needed some extra work surface but had some space restrictions, and this piece worked out perfectly. While I was a bit apprehensive about the assembly when it arrived in three boxes, the instructions were very clear and my husband and I were able to assemble it in about an hour, without an argument -- which has not always been the case when assembly is required! I ordered the black finish and with the stainless steel top and the piece is quite striking. I'm very pleased!
