Ok, so we are remodeling a house and having to buy lots of items for it, bar stools being one of them. I have always loved this bar stool design as it is identical to ones owned by my best friend. When I found them on this website, I realized that these were the ones. I will say that I was unsure what color they would really turn out to be, which was important as I also ordered some of the same style regular table chairs from another website, also made by Hillsdale, and I was hoping they would match. They did! The color is really a black finish with worn places that have a wooden and almost reddish hue, which was perfect in my color scheme. I will tell you that the seat cushion is not golden like the picture shows, rather it is a black pattern on a neutral gray/taupe background. Truly so neutral that it would go with any color scheme, as my walls are a dark caramel color and they look great.
