We recently renovated our kitchen/family room. In order to accommodate seating at the center island, we enlarged it incorporating 2 wood finishes – ebony and oak. The stools that we selected matched the ebony finish and complimented the style that we had integrated. I had researched many stools and the Normandy provided comfort, casual elegance and a great style at a reasonable price. We are very pleased with our choice!

The price was not bad and the quality seems to be fine, but the finish is not exactly as I had hoped. I was hoping for a more distressed and unique appearance, and the distress markings on the stools are in the exact same places on every stool. Therefore, when they are all lined up together at my island, the distressed effect comes off as mass produced and not individually made. But, they are decent for the price.
