Description

The Nourison Mystique Collection brings the idea of luxury to contemporary rugs. Sink your toes into these elegant designs, and feel the softness of 100% wool. Each rug features dense, "hard twist" yarns playfully accented with Nourison's own Luxcelle faux silk fibers for extra depth and texture. During hard twisting, the wool is spun to produce a tight curl, resulting in a speckled appearance and extra light reflection off the surface of the rug. The Nourison Mystique Collection is handmade in China especially for Nourison Industries.

Notable Characteristics:

Dye Lots: Due to slight variation from dye lot to dye lot, color matches may vary within acceptable industry tolerance.

Shedding or Fluffing: this is a natural characteristic of all wool or wool blend pile carpets. Loose bits of natural fiber can appear on the carpet surface and can be removed with gentle vacuuming. Improper maintenance, dragging objects, or overly aggressive vacuum methods can distort pile and cause excess fuzzing.

Shading or Watermarking: All cut pile carpets and some loop pile carpets are characterized by highlighting or shading, sometimes called "watermarking." This is not a manufacturing defect, but simply a result of pile direction. Purchasers of fine carpets, especially cut pile, should be made aware of this.

Woven Characteristics: Our products are woven with high quality fibers. As with all woven products and all fibers, there are certain variances in surface texture, yarn consistency, etc. that sometimes cause the appearance of striation, tension lines or other minor imperfections. These are not considered defects, but are inherent to the beauty of fine woven carpets.

Care

Nourison recommends only the use of Woolite or other compatible carpet cleaners for the cleaning of all rugs. The cleaning process should involve applying the Woolite with a soft bristle brush, rinsing the water, and extracting with a vacuum or extractor. The rug should then be dried by air or low temperature hair dryer. The use of any other cleaning solvent will void the Nourison warranty, and make the cleaning service solely responsible for any damage caused to the rug. Nourison does not guarantee that these methods work and should be used as a guideline only. If in doubt, call a reputable professional cleaner in your area.
