This desk is not bad for the price. I have two complaints: 1) the desk is not real sturdy 2) one of the holes for a nut was not drilled out deep enough. With these laminated MDF pieces one should know the quality they are getting is not the best but rahter decent and affordable. The hole not being drilled out deep enough means one side of a drawer cannot be secured, but is held by only one bolt. Also, the drawer slides had to be removed in order for two bolts to be inserted. Not a big deal but still good to know.

I just finished putting this together, and I am very pleased with it. It had two small nicks which I covered up with black marker. Other than that everything was great!! I ordered it on Monday and received it on Friday. Easy assembly. I love it!

I really like the style and compact size of the desk. I had read a couple of reviews before ordering that had mentioned some damage due to shipping, but was hopeful that wouldn't be the case with ours. Oh well...We decided to just glue the draw front back on ourselves and do some quick touch up paint on the nicked areas. It seemed like a lot of work to pack it all back up and have shipped back. We figure we'd be putting our own nicks into it soon enough anyway. Perhaps the packaging it ships in should be re-evaluated?
