We love this compost bin... we have been using it now for quite a while and it has held up very well. The bin itself is made from a better quality plastic that looks good and the color is exceptional! It washes very well, with no hidden seams that catch dirt. The compost inside does not smell at all because the filter works very well. The bin itself has a stream line look about it making it very attractive.
We are very happy with this product... it does cost a little more than other products... BUT you can instantly tell why when you look at the quality... this will last us for years and years. This compost bin does exactly what the manufacturers claim it will do... AND it looks nice as well.
Thank you for a great product... living off grid and being environmentally friendly should look good as well as be practical. Well done!!! :)

THis little bin is the right size for us. The green color doesn't work for us, but we put it under the sink. Odor-free. The lid that came was a little misaphen adn that made it awkward to open and close. I hope it will bend back into shape with use. Not the easiest to open and close--espeically with bent lid, but i try to open it only once during food prep and once after dinner.

Great size for our family, as there are only three of us. Walking to the composter every few days is great. The charcoal filter works really well.

I wanted this pail because it was one of the largest available, made from recycled plastic and was non-breakable. However, the lid has no hinge on it requiring you to pop off the lid everytime you want to use it. It's very inconvenient. It's too large to put on the counter and not attractive enough to be displayed so. I would not recommend it. Next time, I'll opt for one of the ceramic ones that look nicer.

This compost bin would have been perfect if it had a hinged lid and was just a little bigger. Otherwise, very pleased with design and quality.
