About Old Friend Slippers
Since 1981, Old Friend Slippers has developed a line of slippers unmatched by competitors. Their process produces an almost silk-like feel to their sheepskin. They've removed all textile bindings in favor of garment grade pigskin and have sewn-in detail to avoid any chance of irritants coming in contact with bare feet. Old Friend was also among the first to offer a 100% sheepskin insole instead of the cheaper processed wool used by many. Truly sheepskin specialists, Old Friend offers "wides" and extra large sizes, along with a variety of styles.
Sheepskin Care Instructions
Do not immerse in water. Clean suede leather with a damp cloth and diluted, mild detergent such as Ivory liquid. Rinse cloth and rub again. Remove moisture immediately with a dry cloth.
Rub sheepskin fleece with a wet cloth and mild detergent. Repeat with rinse water and remove moisture with a dry cloth. Brush fleece lightly to renew nap. Always dry your slippers in the shade, never in direct sunlight.
Sheepskin can be freshened with baking soda. Sprinkle baking soda over fleece, let it stand overnight, shake and or vacuum the fleece out the next day. You can also spray lightly with an anti-bacterial spray. Let spray dry before using slipper.

I purchased these slippers for my son. He loves them, but I knew he would because they replace an identical pair he had. I bought him a different brand for Christmas, but he asked that I return them and get him the same pair of "Old Friends." He usually wears a 14 or 14.5 but the 15 fits him fine. He had the previous pair for 3 years - he wore them a lot - even outside at times - and they held up exceptionally well.

This was my fourth and maybe last pair. It now comes with a removable,washable insole that comes out every time I step out of them. So now I have to bend over and reinsert the insole before I can put them back on. I found that if I reinsert the insole with the sheepskin side down and the smooth bottom side up, they stay in place. At least it works but I would rather have the insoles glued or sewed perminently in place.

This is my third pair. I loved these slippers. Since the addition of the footbed, raising the heel, they are not as comfortable. 1/2 to full size too short. I won't buy another pair and would no longer recommend them.

I am replacing slippers that I have worn daily for a year to the day. They are comfortable, durable and warm. The arch support isn't as good as last year's version though. I look forward to enjoying these for another year.
